Carys Appleby, Training & Development Manager
Carys has a life-long love of horses, and has been riding and competing at BS National Level since her early teens. Currently competing up to BS 1.25m, Carys is reigning South of England 1.10m Champion and Sussex Area Winter Champion, and has qualified for the International Arena Finals at Hickstead nine times in recent years.
Having spent three decades running her own successful London-based Brand and Marketing business, Carys has now established herself as a well renowned trainer and prides herself on supporting others to better understand their relationship with horses, and helping to bring out the best in each other.

Sophie has been riding since the age of 5, and successfully competed BS Children on Horses throughout her teens. She has a particular interest in producing youngsters and has produced all her own horses to date through from backing to competing BS Foxhunter and BE 3* level.
Sophie trained with Caroline Moore, Yogi Breisner and Matt Lanni plus worked alongside International Event Rider and Trainer Joss Gray before running her own successful yard in Leicestershire for many years.
Having had a break from horses to look after her children, Sophie fully appreciates the demands of juggling everyday life with providing the best care for her horses.
In her own words, “I wish I could have found a service like ours to keep my own horses at when I didn't have the time to care for them myself”.
